Hey there!
Welcome to our little corner of the internet! Here, we share the highs, the lows, and everything in between. As a mom of two incredible boys, each with their own unique way of learning and seeing the world, we’re all about embracing the chaos and celebrating the journey. From autism to creative learning styles, sensory needs to gifted quirks, we’re here for the beautifully diverse minds that make this world brighter.
If you’re here, chances are you know and love a little one who doesn’t fit into a traditional box, and that’s a beautiful thing - it gets the people going lol. Whether they’re neurodivergent, twice-exceptional, culturally diverse, or just wonderfully unique in how they show up in the world, you’re in the right place.
At JaxCreed, we believe in representation, joy, and inclusion for all. Especially for our Black, Brown, scholars. We know how powerful it is for them to see themselves reflected in stories, in community, education and celebration. We’re creating a space where all kids, especially those with unique learning journeys, feel seen, valued, and supported for exactly who they are.
This is also my space to throw my hair up in a ponytail, breathe deep, and let it all out. It might not always be formal or politically correct, but it will always be real. This is where I get to show up raw, reflective, and completely myself, as a mom, a writer, and someone walking this journey one day at a time.
I’m Hanna Morris (that’s Haa-nuh), a writer, parent, and passionate advocate for little learners who learn, process, and thrive differently. I’ve transitioned my boys from homeschooling to mainstream classrooms, and I know firsthand how overwhelming yet rewarding this path can be. Some days we juggle it all, and some days we just make it through, and that's ok!
Here on the blog (and in our vlogs), I’ll be sharing what’s worked for us, strategies, stories, and moments of growth, along with resources designed to uplift all families navigating learning differences, cultural representation, and the day-to-day joy and struggle of raising kids who don’t fit the mold (and shouldn’t have to).
So whether you’re raising a sensory seeker, an anxious thinker, a deep-feeling empath, a late bloomer, or a future world-changer who just learns a little differently, welcome! This is a space for you, and for them.
We’ve got some exciting things lined up: tips, tools, real stories, and connection. So make sure to subscribe and stick around. We’re in this together, through the ups, downs, and all the beautiful mess in between.
So, let’s dive in and do this thing called life together. Here we go!
